Air Mail envelope addressed to New York bearing French Maroc Yvert 182, 1f brown (2 on reverse), Yvert 188, 2f green (6), Yvert 193, 3f brown (3) and Yvert 197, 10f scarlet (2) tied by Tangier slogan, routed via Lisbon and intercepted by the British in Bermuda with 'Opened by Examiner/ 4319' label with '1.C. /' hand-stamp and hand-struck wavy line 'Released' in violet on face and reverse.
A very nice item sent Air Mail over the Atlantic and held during the war, subsequently a little edge ware.
