Egypt postal stationery envelope 'One Piastre' blue cancelled by Caire date stamp '18th July 96' addressed to Jaluit, Marshall Islands endorsed 'via Singapore, Manilla' and routed via Suez '19/7' and Colombo 'Aug 1st' with Singapore 'Aug 8th' and Jaluit/ Marschall/ Insein' arrival on reverse '12th Oct'.
The Marshall Islands is a Micronesian nation of atolls and islands in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. The islands first used German stamps in 1888 with overprinted German stamps becoming available in 1897.
