Stamp-less folded letter written from Philadelphia dated '10th Dec 1846' addressed to Ferrol, Spain via Gibraltar, endorsed 'Per Marshall' with hand-struck 'De Gibr./ S. Roque/ And Baxa' on face, received in Gibraltar '24th July' and Ferrol arrival on reverse '26th July.'
San Roque was the Gibraltar frontier transit mark.
