Registered envelope written from Bamako French Soudan addressed to Cape Coast bearing Soudan Francaise Yvert 50, 3f on 5f orange and rose tied by Bamako/ Soudan Francaise double ring '11th Avril' with matching registered label and oval Registered/Accra '9 May' and Registered/Cape Coast '13th May' on reverse and endorsed 'Address Unknown' with instructional hand-stamp 'Unclaimed' and framed 'Retour' in violet on face with boxed 'Inconnu' and returned to Bamako. Lovely item of instructional mail into Gold Coast.
