Gold Coast. 1941. Air Mail envelope addressed to Wales bearing Gold Coast SG 126, 6d purple and SG 131, 5s red and olive tied by Obuasi/ Gold Coast date stamp '23rd Dec 41' with framed 'Passed by Censor/ Gold Coast/ 9' in carmine with 'First Flight/ Regular Air Mail Service/ Gold Coast - U.S.A.' on face in violet. This hand-stamp was only in use for two days.
