Stamp-less envelope written from Leith dated '9th July 1853' addressed to Cadiz cancelled by 'Leith/ Paid', rated '1s' in m/s erased and rated '10', endorsed 'via France' and routed via London with circular 'Too-Late/ GBO' on face, French entry cachet and oval 'P-F' (Paid to Frontier) and charged with hand-struck '11 R' in red and Cadiz arrival. Nice item of Too Late mail from Scotland.
