Registered and Charged envelope addressed to France bearing SG 122, 6d pale chestnut (plate 11) tied by Gloucester Docks date stamp with oval 'Registered/ London' and circular PD' with hand-struck 'Charge' and framed accountancy on reverse with 'Postes Calais/ Paris' wax seals in red (2), French entry cachet and Nantes arrival on reverse. Lovely item of Charged mail to France, the single six penny being cancelled by cds. Most unusual.
