News Band wrapper addressed to Bordeaux, France bearing SG 43, 1d rose-red, SG 48, 1/2d rose (plate eight pair), SG 94, 4d vermilion, SG 103, 3d rose and SG 117, 1s green tied by 'NW/ 2' obliterator with oval 'PD' and French entry cachet. Lovely five colour franking on wrapper to France. Very rare paying the 1 shilling nine pence rate.
