Great Britain. (Ceylon). 1875. Envelope addressed to Galle, Ceylon bearing Great Britain SG 150, 1s green tied by Slough/ 717 duplex 'July 23', endorsed 'via Brindisi' and carried on the steamer "China" arriving in Suez 'July 26' then overland from Alexandria to Suez '29/ 30th July' and onwards via the "Khiva" to Ceylon with Galle/ Paid arrival 'Aug 13' in red on reverse. Very pretty cover paying the 'one shilling' rate via Brindisi.
