Haiti. (British Ship Letters). 1832. Stamp-less envelope written from Cap Haytian dated '1st Sept 1832' addressed to London, endorsed 'Per Coronation/ Capt. Kerr', routed via Penzance with framed 'Penzance/ Ship Letter' in black on reverse (Robertson S4) with London arrival '26th Nov 1832' and rated '5s' in m/s and charged '12/8' on face. A very large amount to pay. Lovely item.
