Waterwatch, China Fleet' addressed to Essex bearing SG 102,4c carmine tied by Hong Kong double ring with oval cachet in violet 'H.M.S. Waterwatch / China Fleet/ 20 Mar 1912', routed via Siberia. Very fine item as the Waterwatch was sunk soon after in a collision with an Admiralty Yacht.
