Hong Kong. (R.A.F. Post). 1946. Air Mail envelope written from 'H,G, Commando, Hong Kong/ S.E.A.C.' endorsed 'On Active Service' addressed to England cancelled by 'Field Post Office/ 366' double ring '19th Mr 46'.
Very nice item from the British Forces at South East Asia Command (S.E.A.C.). A Commando Brigade disembarked at Kowloon on the 12th September 1946 and the Field Post Office was running by the 16th September, the first service Post Office after Liberation.
