Large piece addressed to France bearing French General Colonies Yvert 3, 10c bistre (pair) and Yvert 5, 40c orange tied by anchor in dotted lozange with adjacent octagonal 'Etab. Fr. Inde Paq. Fr. O No 1' date stamp '8th Janv 67' (Salles 1962), endorsed 'per Nepaqie' but sent on the paquebot "Erymanthe" to Pointe de Galle (Ceylon) and forwarded on the Steamer "Donnai" with transit '10th Janv. 67' (Salles 1813), routed via Suez and Marseille with Nantes arrival '3rd Feb' on reverse. Superb item sent on the 1st Ligne 'O' paquebot from Pondichery to Galle and the last voyage of the 'Donnai' from Pointe de Galle to Suez. Exhibition item.
