Envelope addressed to Alor Star, Kedah bearing India SG 248, 1/2a brown and SG 250, 1a carmine (pair) tied by Karaikudi double ring, underpaid with circular 'T/ 50 - C' hand-stamp, routed via Negapatam with hand-struck 'Passed Censor/ Negapatam/ 1' in violet with framed Alor Star 'To Pay/ 10 Cents' hand-stamp and Alor Star/ Kedah arrival. Very fine item with the scarce Negapatam censor (rated 10 points), tax hand-stamps delated as applied in error.
