Italian Prisoner of War, Bombay (India)', dated 'Milano 12/5/1943' with circular 'Ufficio Censura Posta Estera/ 1' and hand-stamped 'Verificato/Per Censura' with '8/ R.A.' in blue and circular 803/ 1' with triangular '15' in violet (camp censor), small boxed censor on reverse and framed 'Crown/ Passed/ DHP/ 5' with hand-stamp 'DHP/ 263' in violet on face in Bombay and anointed on reverse 'R/ 10/10/43' indicating date received.
Also 'Army Form W. 3493' Prisoner of War Post written from 'Cominotti' on his transfer from India with circular 'P.O.W. Camp/ No 783/ Great Britain' with 'Crown/ Passed/ Censor' in red.
Italian Pilot "Sgt. Cominotti" was held P.O.W. in Camp 15 in India before being transferred to 'Dinorben Court, Hampshire Camp 783.'
