Prisoner of War Mail, New York. N.Y.' on face, received El Paso '5th Sept' with duplex and forwarded to Monterrey N.I. with arrival '16th Sept 17' on reverse with m/s blue crayon 'Mapuui' written diagonally across face.
A very attractive Prisoner of War stationery envelope from India routed over the Pacific, nearly all P.O.W. mail seen during WW1 was sent to Europe mostly Germany.
