Stamp-less envelope written from Khorasha addressed to Tulfar, French Madagascar with Khorasha/ Kathiawar date stamp '6th No 08' dispatch, underpaid with circular 'T' hand-stamp and horseshoe 'Khorasha/ Due/ One Anna' on face, routed via Bombay with Ambohibe/ Madagascar transit in blue '24th Dec' and bearing French General Colonies postage due Yvert 29, 10c brown (imperf side margin strip of three) mixed with French Madagascar Yvert 34, 20c red/ yellow applied and tied by Fulfar/ Madagascar date stamp in blue 'Jan 9th 09' on reverse. Exceptional franking with use of the French Madagascar stamp as postage due in combination with French General Colonies due originating from India.
