India. (Trans- Tasman & Pacific Mail). 1941. Air Mail envelope addressed to England bearing SG 251, 2a vermilion, SG 253, 3a green, SG 259, 1 r grey and brown and SG 260 2r purple and brown tied by Ahmednagor Camp double ring '5th July 41', with rupee stamps struck by bold 'CROSS' hand-stamp with adjacent 'T' hand-stamp invalidated, endorsed 'via Auckland' with 'Opened by Censor' label tied by triangular 'Passed By Censor/ A 11' on face, carried 'Trans-Tasman' to New Zealand and over the Pacific to the United States and over the Atlantic.

A very attractive cover and unusual item. Why were the KGVI stamps invalidated ?
