Registered envelope addressed to France bearing French India Yvert 7, 20c green/ red and Yvert 9, 30c brown tied by Inde/ Pondichery date stamp '6th July 98' with framed hand-struck 'R' in red on face, endorsed 'via Brindisi' with 'Modane a Paris' ambulant '23rd Juil' and St. Brieuc arrival on reverse.
Beautiful cover paying the 50c registered rate to France via Brindisi with scarce usage of the 30c brown from French India.
