(Advice of Receipt) envelope addressed to France bearing French India Yvert 2, 2c lilac-brown (block of four + single) and Yvert 8, 25c black/ rose (2) tied by Inde/ Pondichery double ring '22nd Nov 98' with framed 'R' and hand-struck ''AR' in red on face with 'Modane a Paris' ambulant and Lyon '9th Dec' arrival on reverse .
Beautiful cover from Pondichery to Lyon paying the Registration fee of 50c and 10c for return receipt (Avis de Reception) yielding a total rate of 60c.
