Air Mail envelope addressed to New York bearing SG 259, 1r grey and brown and SG 271b, 3a violet (pair) tied by framed 'F.P.O./ No 41' date stamp '13th June 42', with framed 'Passed By/ 299/ Unit Censor' on reverse with circular '46', routed via 'Indian Sub Base Office/ No 7' dated '15th June'. endorsed 'Pan American Clipper' with 'Examined By Base Censor' label tied by 'Deputy Chief Field Censor', Brooklyn arrival '14/7', hand-stamp 'Inconnu' and 'Retour (Return To Writer) with Bombay 'D.L.O. dated '15th Dec' on reverse. Nice item from Indian F.P.O. 41 located at Mosul, routed via Bagdad. Very attractive item.
