Registered and Charged envelope addressed to France bearing SG 108, 6 violet (plate 8) tied by '186' in diamond with adjacent 'Dublin/ Registered' routed via London with oval 'Registered/ London' and hand-struck circular 'PD' with hand-struck 'Charge' and framed accountancy on reverse with 'Postes Calais/ Paris' wax seals in red (2), French entry cachet and Nantes arrival on reverse. Charged mail from Ireland is rarely seen. A lovely item.
