"Red Star" line envelope addressed to Vermont bearing Great Britain SG 172, 1d lilac (pair) and 'Jubilee' SG 197, 1/2d orange tied by 'Paquebot' hand-stamp (struck twice) with adjacent Dublin & Cork TPO/ American Mail (Robertson P.1) dated 'My 24 94' on face with New York/ Paid All duplex and Vermont arrival 'June 2nd' on reverse.
Superb item, the Dublin - Cork Travelling Post Office twenty times rarer than the Queenstown Paquebot.
Although the circular T.P.O. hand-stamp bears the wording 'Dublin & Cork T.P.O.' the service was carried through the port of Queenstown.
