Stamp-less envelope written from Augsburg, Germany dated '12th April 1941' addressed to a German Internee at Onchan Camp, Isle of Man with German censor label tied by circular cachet in red, with instructional label 'Not At Onchan-Please Forward To' (Whitney 669a) tied by oval 'Onchan Internment Camp/ Camp Post Office/12 May 1941' in violet (Whitney 667) cover re-directed to London with 'Opened by Examiner/3902' censor label. Beautiful item of internee mail for the exhibitor. Very few examples of this label known.
