Registered Air Mail envelope addressed to the United States bearing Great Britain SG 470, 6d purple and SG 475, 1s brown (strip of three) tied by 'Field Post Office/ 515' double ring '31st Jan 43' with Crown/ Passed Censor/ 857' in violet and signed, endorsed 'Air Mail/ Clipper'. routed via Egypt with 'Examined By Base Censor' label tied by circular 'Deputy Chief Field Censor' and hand-stamp '74' on reverse with Connecticut arrival on reverse 'Mar 11'. Nice item, censored from Army Post Office Derna, Libya paying the 3/6d Clipper rate over the Atlantic.
