Registered Air Mail envelope addressed to Germany bearing SG 434, 100y claret SG 444, 1y brown and SG 471, 10y bright violet (block of 6) tied by Tokyo / Nippon date stamp with registration label, famed bilingual Air Mail and hand-stamp'AV/2' in red on face with hand-struck instructional and 'North West Airlines / Oriental' label, routed via United States with 'Opened by Cen. Civil Mails' label and Hamburg arrival. The first Japanese 'AV./2' cover I have seen. Lovely item for the Exhibitor.
