Japan. (French Maritime Mail). 1902. Picture post card of 'Kiyomizu Temple at Kioto' addressed to France bearing 'Koban' SG 118, 4s bistre tied by octagonal French paquebot 'Ligne N Paq. Fr. No 10' date stamp 'Feb 12 02' (Salles 1924) with Arcachon arrival. Lovely item of mail from Japan with the Koban stamp cancelled on board the French packet "Laos". Exhibition item.
