Japan. (Manchuria - Kwantung Leasehold). 1933. 'Anglo-Chinese Eastern Trading Company, Harbin' registered 'Trading envelope' addressed to 'Anglo-Chinese Eastern Trading Co. London' bearing Japan 'Tazawa' SG 229, 50s chestnut and deep blue tied by vernacular Dairen date stamp '8.5.20' (20th May 1933) with Dairen (1) registration label and routed via the Imperial Japanese Post Office with Dairen/ I.J.P.O. dated '21st May 33' on face in violet, routed via Changchun with Hsinking/ I.J.P.O.' transit '21st May 33' with hand-struck 'Registered' and vernacular hand-stamp in blue on face (erased by registration label) and endorsed 'via Siberia'.

A very rare single franking of the 'Tazawa' 50 sen used from the Kwantang Leasehold.
