London' bearing Japan 'Tazawa' SG 236, 13s bistre (2) tied by vernacular Dairen date stamp with adjacent 'Dairen (1)' registration label, routed via the Imperial Japanese Post Office with Dairen/ I.J.P.O. date stamp in violet '3rd Dec 32' , endorsed 'via Canada' with bold vernacular hand-stamp on face erased.
Lovely item used from the Kwangtung Leasehold, unusually routed across the Pacific to Vancouver and overland then carried across the Atlantic a routed which took 15 days longer to reach Europe.
