Stamp-less envelope endorsed 'Mission de Laos' cancelled by Bassac/ Laos double ring '4th Feb 98', routed south down the River Mekong to Saigon '13th Feb' with 'Modane a Paris' ambulant '14th Mars', with triangular 'T' hand-stamp and bearing French postage due Yvert 29, 10c brown (2) and Yvert 31, 20c orange-red applied and tied by Realmont receiver '16th Mars' on face.
Very early mail from the French Occupation of Laos sent via Civil Mail so taxed on arrival.
