Malaya. (French Indo-China). 1940. Air Mail envelope addressed to 'Camps des Baumettes, Marseille' (written from a Viet interpreter to the Indo-Chinese Camp), bearing French Indo-China SG 168, 1c sepia, SG 172, 4c blue and SG 191, 30c chestnut tied by Mytho/ Cochinchine date stamp, endorsed 'Via Lydda' with 'Opened But Uncensored/ Passed to Penang for Censorship' censor tape in pink with 'Passed For Transmission/ 10' censor hand-stamp in violet applied in Penang. Very rare item 'Opened But Uncensored' label used via Penang. Only the second I have seen (the other via Hong Kong) in 35 years of trading !
