Saemsfoort, Bandoeng, Java' cancelled by Bandoeng date stamp '1943' and endorsed 'Tawanan Militair' (Military Prisoner) in red crayon, addressed to 'H. van Affelen v Saemsfoort, No 8560, Indo (Dutch), Landstorm Sergeant 1st Class, Tangst, Java X (Batavia) with boxed hand-stamp 'Furyo Yubin' (Prisoner of War Post) in carmine, rectangular 'Ken'etsuzumi' (censured) in violet and unrecorded oval seal in orange, hand-stamped 'Java (district) 1' and 'Mare e Ikan' (Transferred to Malaya) and rectangular 'Ken'etsuzumi' (censored) in violet with oval receiving unrecorded censor seal and anointed '20th Oct 44' indicating date received in Singapore.
