Saemsfoort, Bandoeng, Java' cancelled by Bandoeng date stamp '20th Dec 43' and endorsed 'Tawanan Militair' (Military Prisoner) in red crayon, addressed to 'H. van Affelen v Saemsfoort, No 8560, Bangsa, Blanda Indo (Dutch), Landstorm, Sergeant 1st Class, Tangst, Java 'X' (Batavia) with hand-stamp 'Furyo Yubin' (Prisoner of War Post) in carmine, rectangular 'Ken'etsuzumi' (censored) in violet and circular seal of "Miura", hand-stamped 'Java (district) 1', typed '8560' (POW number), endorsed 'Pakanbaroe' in blue crayon and hand-stamped 'Mare e Ikan' (Transferred to Malaya) and rectangular 'Ken'etsuzumi' (censored) in violet with oval seal of "Shimogahara" in red applied on arrival in Singapore and anointed '15th Mei 44' date received in Singapore.
