Photographic post card of 'Malay village with palm trees' addressed to England bearing Straits Settlements SG 200, 6c claret tied by on arrival by London Foreign Branch (stamp refused at Taiping with pencil crosses), adjacent Taiping/ F.M.S. double ring '19th Ap', and taxed with framed triangular 'T.T.P.' on face in purple, taxed on arrival in London bearing Great Britain postage due SG D2, 1d carmine and SG D4, 2d agate tied by Kensington receiver 'Ap 16' with hand-struck '3/ F.B.' on face.

Unusual item Straits stamp not valid in Perak and tax hand-stamp not often seen in violet.
