Malta. (Postage Due). 1931. Registered Official Mail envelope endorsed 'Museum' and headed 'On His Majesty's Service' addressed to Paris cancelled by 'Malta/ Official/ Paid' date stamp in red with adjacent G.P.O./ Malta date stamp with 'R/ Valletta' registered label and framed postage due hand-stamp '2 1/2d' and '3d' in red. Very scarce early hand-stamp applied in red only usage on Official mail.
