China. (Manchuria). 1933. Large 'Anglo - Chinese Eastern Trading Company, Harbin' registered 'Trading Envelope' addressed to 'Anglo-Chinese Eastern Trading Co. London' bearing Manchuria SG 35, 20f bistre-brown (strip of four) tied by Harbin date stamp '10th Sept 33' with matching registration label and framed bilingual 'Registered' in violet and boxed 'Registered' in carmine with hand-struck 'via Siberia' on face in violet.

Beautiful cover paying the 80 fen registered rate to England. The International postage rates from the 26th July 32 - 1st Jun 34. The 80 fen rate is a 3 times registered rate cover, letters to 20 grams, 25 fen plus 15 fen for each extra 20g = 25f plus 15f x 2 = 55 fen plus 25 fen for registration fee = 80 fen.
