London' bearing Manchuria SG 7, 3f emerald (9), SG 13, 15f rosine and SG 15, 20f bistre-brown (4) tied by bilingual Pinkiang (Harbin) date stamp '22nd Nov 32' (stamps on reverse) with Harbin/ 2 registration label and hand-struck 'Registered' in violet, endorsed 'via Canada'.
Spectacular franking cover paying the 1 yuan 55 fen registered rate from Pinkiang to England. The International postage rates from the 26th July 32 - 1st Jan 34. The 1 yuan 55 fen rate is an 8 times registered rate cover, letters to 20 gram, 25 fen plus 15 fen for each extra 20g = 25 fen plus 15f x 7 = 1 yuan 30 fen plus 25 fen registration fee = 1 yuan 55 fen.
