Stamp-less envelope written from Savanne dated '20th Avril 1847' addressed to France cancelled by Mauritius Post Office double ring routed via Great Britain with boxed 'Colonies/ & Art 13' accountancy and stepped 'Ship-letter/Plymouth' in black on reverse (Robertson s6) with French entry cachet and rated '17' in m/s on arrival with La Fleche receiver '5th Aout 47' on reverse. Superb item from Savanne with Plymouth Ship Letter. Exhibition piece.
