Stamp-less envelope written from Port Louis dated '18th October 1853' addressed to Batavia cancelled by oval 'Packet Letter/ Mauritius' Oc 18' endorsed 'Per steamer "Queen of the South" , routed 'via Ceylon' and rated '48' stuvers on arrival in Batavia. Very scarce destination from Mauritius.
