Stamp-less envelope written from Bel Air dated '6th My 1852' addressed to France with 'Crown/Mauritius/GPO' on face and boxed 'Colonies/ & Art 13' accountancy routed via England with 'Torquay/ Ship Letter' hand-stamp in green on face (Robertson S1) and Torquay transit on reverse with 'Angl. 2 Calais' French entry cachet on face, taxed '15' on arrival with Fleche receiver. Very fine and rare item from Mauritius with Torquay Ship Letter.
