Mauritius. 1944. Air Mail letter card written from 'Mauritius Sub Area, East Africa Command' dated '30th June 44' addressed to England bearing Mauritius SG 255, 6c violet and SG 257, 12c salmon tied by E.A./A.P.O. 73' double ring '6th July' with framed 'Passed By/ Base/Censor/ E.E./ 2' on reverse and 'Crown/ Passed by/ Censor/ No 4902' in violet on face and signed. Very rare Base Censor, not recorded by Little but one example seen by Mike White noted '12th Feb 44'.
