Stamp-less envelope written from 'Champ Rose, Mauritius' dated '12th Sept 1820' addressed to Vitre, France with French entry cachet 'Col Par/ Auray' on face and rated '5' in manuscript with arrival 'Le 6th Jan 1821' in m/s on reverse. A very fine item with text written from a Planter describing life on the Plantation. Scarce French entry cachet from Auray in the south of Brittany.
