Stamp-less envelope written from Pamplemousse Plantation addressed to Vitre, France with French entry cachet 'Colonies Par/ Nantes' on face and rated '5' in m/s, erased and charged '6' in manuscript with arrival '7th Juil' on reverse. A very fine item with text written from a Planter describing life on the Plantation.
