Registered and Insured envelope endorsed 'V.P.P. for RS 21 (Rupees Twenty One), addressed to Bombay written from Katmandu, Nepal' bearing India SG 268, 1a carmine and SG 269, 1 1/2a dull violet (strip of five) tied by British Legation/ Reg (Nepal) date stamp '18th Aug 44' with 'V.P./ 40' pink registration label tied by hand-struck framed 'British Legation (Nepal) and receiver on reverse '23rd Aug'.
Scarce 'V.P.' pink label. A very attractive item.
