Stamp-less envelope written from 'Soerabaja' dated '11th August 1853' addressed to Holland endorsed 'Landmail' and 'Via Triest' with Triest transit '11/10' and m/s accountancy '6 1/4' in blue' on face and reverse, various 'Berlin/ Minden' , Minden/ Deutz and Leipzig to Magdeb on reverse and rated '50' with Rotterdam arrival '15th Oct on reverse. Nice item of Netherlands East Indies mail routed via Triest and Germany.
