Registered Netherlands Indies postal stationery envelope 15c on 25 cents violet upgraded with SG 32, 10c orange-brown (pair) tied by numeral '108' obliterator with Medan date stamp '6th Sept 1888' with hand-struck 'R' , addressed to Switzerland with framed 'Na Posttijd' , routed via Penang with 'Ned. Ind. Penang' on reverse in blue '10/9' and forwarded by British paquebot with framed 'Ned. Indsch/ via Brindisi/ Britsche Pakkete' in blue on face and 'Modane a Paris' ambulant in red '12th Oct' with Zurich arrival '13/10' on reverse. Superb item of uprated stationery.
