Netherlands East Indies postal stationery card 3 1/2c grey upgraded with SG 335, 1c slate, SG 416, 2c (+1) violet, SG 422, 3 1/2c (+1 1/2c) blue green and SG 424, 10c (+2 1/2c) vermilion tied by Lawang date stamp '5th Feb 40' , endorsed 'and taxed 'T. 40 ctm' in m/s pencil, addressed to Germany with 'KLM' hand-stamp, routed via Singapore with 'Passed For Transmission' in violet and German censor cachet arrival.
At Singapore the cover was transferred from 'KNILM' to KLM indicated by the hand-stamp.
Mail service to Germany and German occupied territories was suspended in May 1940 after the German invasion and occupation of the Netherlands.
