Major Dr. Schouten had been a Doctor at the Royal Netherlands East Indies Army, Camp Columbia, Wacol, Brisbane and served with the 'RAPWI' (Recovery of Allied Prisoners of War and Internees) in the Dutch Indies, Timor and Thailand. The NEI Government in Exile was quartered in Camp Columbia from 1944. A scarce item.
