Air Mail envelope addressed to the United States bearing Netherlands Indies SG 341, 5c ultramarine and SG 359, 2g50 purple tied by Palembang date stamp '18th Sept 40' with censor label tied by framed 'Censuur Palambang/ Gepasseerd' in red on face and reverse with circular 'Ned. Ind. Deviezen Instituut/ Deviezen/ Censuur/ Palembang/ 2' in carmine on face, routed via Singapore with hand-stamp 'Passed by Censor/ 42/ Singapore' in violet and circular 'E' and '21' censor chop on face. Nice item of censored mail from Palembang with double censorship.
