Harsveldt, Djakarta' dated 'Djakarta 14th April 1943' addressed to 'Toean (Mr) A. Harsveldt, Nederlander, Luitenant tez Zee 2nd, Djawa 'D' (Malang), cancelled Djakarta '16th April 03', endorsed 'Tawanan Militer' in red crayon (Military Prisoner) with boxed 'Furyo Yubin' (Prisoner of War Post) in carmine and adjacent framed'Kyoka' (Approved) with circular seal of "Yamamoto" in box and anointed '15055' in pencil Harsveldt's POW number.
Lovely item written in Malay addressed to Malang with code letter 'D'. Scarce.
